Footnote: This badge appears at the bottom right on page 22 of "Eagles Recalled" by Warren Carroll and comes from his personal collection. It is captioned "A variant in embroidered silk. This design is quite distinctive and was manufactured in Toronto. Issued at Camp Borden in 1917 and 1918."
