Footnote: Private Theophile Roy is shown on the roll of the 147 man 9th (Voltigeurs de Qubec) Battalion and is listed on page 77 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866 70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp. He is documented as having been posted to Quebec City from March to April 1866.
