Korea, Empire. An Order Of The Eight Trigrams, Third Class Badge, C.1910 Archive reinforced by a strip of( L). Instituted 1901. A silver six armed star consisting of black enamels and white boardering, centre applique presents a hexagram with three lines red enameling translating into Flame, reverse with hand engraved inscription, measuring 56 mm (w) x 64 mm (h inclusive of integral ring which is slightly askew), with original period neck ribbon and buckle, very fine.
