In silver gilt, a red enamelled Greek Cross, with the obverse center medallion presenting the Coat of Arms of Castile, Leon, Aragon and Navarre (four alternating castles and castles towers) in red, white and blue enamels, the reverse presents a MM monogram (Merito Militar), surmounted by a royal crown suspension, measures 39. 65mm (w) x 59. 10mm (h inclusive of crown
