A General Assault Badge, by Steinhauer & Lück consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac silvered magnetic metal cigarette case(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from an oblong plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Steinhauer & Lck, Ldenscheid,
