An Air Self-Defense Force Badges Auction dated 23 June 1940Direct Air Command Badge (three piece construction, bronze gilt with green and white enamelled disk, mounted to a silvered metal wings base, unmarked, 21. 5 mm x 80. 2 mm, dual screwposts intact, without screwbacks); Navy Pilot's Badge (bronze gilt, 19. 8 mm x 60. 7 mm, horizontal pinback); Flight Surgeon Badge (silvered metal, 20. 5 mm x 60 mm, dual screwbacks); and Pilot Wing (yellow embroidered insignia, on a black nylon base, 21 mm x 47 mm).
