A circular silver medal, the obverse centre with the head of Grand Duke Friedrich I in relief and facing left, circumscribed FRIEDRICH GROSSHERZOG VON BADEN, the reverse inscribed FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) within a circular oak wreath, measuring 40. 60 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period replacement ribbon, and in very fine condition.
