Description

Using down in a sofa construction was a brand new idea when the CH163 sofa was designed and enabled Wegner to give outstanding comfort to a fairly geometric shape

created by Rodney Kinsman in 1972 and included in the permanent collections of twentieth-century furniture at V&A

The beams connect to form several sofa configurations

or an aesthetic whole created through attention to detail in every aspect of the piece

The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the bench

Thinking Man's Chair LDF25 Using down in a sofaThinking Man's Chair by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini. The Thinking Man's Chair is a design that invites contemplation. Morrison designed each element of this chair to ensure maximum comfort, allowing the user moments of reflection and relaxation. The armrests of the chair have integrated glass trays. Designed in 1988, Morrison was inspired to create the Thinking Man's chair when he saw an antique chair with its seat cushion removed for repair.
